Exploring in the desert!

Wednesday, December 07, 2005

We were introduced to geo-cashe...kinda like a treasure hunt. Every one had a good time driving around and searching for where the coordinates were trying to lead us. The cashe that every one found on Friday was an old ammo box that had little trinkets inside.

We had a ton of fun camping in the desert over Thanksgiving weekend. We enjoyed a deep fried turkey, 4-wheel driving, and spending time with family!

Another beautiful sunset at the beach!

We spent the afternoon at the Long Beach Aquarium admiring the Lord's wonderful creation! Some of the sea creatures were a little more beautiful than others, in our opinion!

Nothing to do on a Friday night? Go down to the beach and watch the sunset!!
Although it was our last day at the lake, hopefully we'll be back again soon!
We had a great time camping with the family!

Life the way it was meant to be!!

What a handsome husband!

One night's catch!!

Kevin caught the big fish with his BARE HANDS!! Not a bad start to our Labor Day camping trip at Rock Creek!

For some odd reason her parents won't let us keep her! :)

The wonderful generosity of the people who gave us wedding gifts enabled us to purchase a new digital camera. We decided to escape the heat and spend the day in Santa Barbara playing with all the cool features of our new camera!

We had a ton of fun at the Demolition Derby on the Fourth of July. No real Idaho Demolition Derby is complete without a cow chip chucking contest!! For one reason or another, neither of us decided to participate in that event!

Well, the honeymoon may have ended...but the fun times continued. 4th of July weekend, we went to visit Danielle's family at their new house in Marsing, Idaho. We walked around the farm, did some shooting, and had fun boating on the nearby lake.

As we plodded along, the trail opened up into a panoramic view of Lake Tahoe.

We had so much fun on a little horseback trail ride! Our horses were very stubborn and kept stopping to eat the big orange flowers.

We really enjoyed the evening scenery on our dinner cruise on the Tahoe Queen...a real paddle boat!

The weather was beautiful. Sunny and warm, but cool enough that there was still snow in some spots up on the mountains.

The next day we went for a short hike on the Tahoe Rim Trail. This was the view we had while we ate a picnic lunch.

After getting married on May 30th, we were off to Lake Tahoe for our Honeymoon. Here we are waiting for our flight.
