Idaho Vacation

Wildlife in Idaho

The top photo is of a Robin on her nest in one of the fruit trees on the Tucker Farm. The bottom 3 photos show a Kill Deer bird and her eggs. They lay them on the ground and guard them, not by sitting on them but by distracting the predator by running away and pretending to be injured. What is amazing is that 24 hrs. after the babies hatch, the babies run out of the nest and continue to be guarded by the distractions of their parents. It is quite difficult to find the babies after they have hatched...thus no photos.

Park With the Powells & Camping at the Beach

Happy Anniversary!! 4 Years

May 30th was our 4th anniversary. Since we were camping with Grandma Steinmeyer at Doheny Beach, we decided to run down to Petco Park in San Diego to catch our first baseball game since our 1st anniversary. We enjoyed our time and Bethany seemed to like her 1st baseball game as well.
