On the way home from camping we saw a sign for "Kennedy Meadows", so with visions of open fields of wildflowers we headed up the STEEP 25 mile mountain drive.

Thankfully we had a very safe driver - the road was basically on a cliff!
These street signs cracked me up...can't someone think of a better name than "the other road"??? We were slightly disappointed when we got to Kennedy Meadows. It was a town, a very small town! No rolling meadows of wildflowers here!! They even had a sign that pointed out the direction toward each family's home. We had a good laugh - it was definitely a little trip we won't forget!
